FUNDACIÓN DIGITAL BIBLE
The raison d’être of the Digital Bible Foundation consists on the study, research and diffusion of the Bible all over the World through the New Digital Technologies of Communication in the new Digital Era.
The FDB is decidedly devoted to update the Bible on the digital World, so that the Bible can be accessible for all generations thanks to a digital format full of stimulus and innovations. The digital format is nowadays the best way to transmit this treasure that we have inherited to future generations.
The FDB works in two different and complementary areas of focus: projects and internal organization. On the one hand, our projects tackle the challenge of making the Bible at hand for everybody by preparing activities and producing digital creations. On the other, we care about transparency in our internal organization and management based on Board’s decisions, Annual plans and Annual reports.
Since we are committed to transparency and easy access to information about our organization, we provide in this web all internal documentation for all people who are interested in our .
The FDB is committed to honesty and transparency in the management of this institution. We have prepared a Manual of Rules on transparency and good practice for the management of the FDB. The definitive text will be approved in the 2016 ordinary meeting. In that sense, we provide for you documentation on the economic administration (statements and fundraising) and agreements with other institutions and companies.
The eBible project does not receive financial aid from other private or public institutions. That’s why we depend on the donations of people who feel identified with our values and objectives.
THE ACTIVITIES
The FBD focuses its work in four main areas on the Bible: eBooks, Biblical Narrations, Bible eLearning Courses (with Biblical Learning Units), and Lectio Divinas. In addition, there are other interactive implementations: Blogs, Social networks and Newsletters. Not to forget the work of our section of “Humanists of the "eBible".
